Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

RitePDF (“we”, “our”, “the app”) is built to respect your privacy. This policy describes how we handle information in the RitePDF app for iPhone and iPad.

Your data stays on your device

RitePDF does not upload your documents or personal content to our servers. PDFs, signatures, and saved names are stored locally on your device (and in your iCloud account if you use iCloud Drive for the app’s documents). The only data transmitted by the app is limited analytics data and purchase/subscription status data needed for optional in-app purchases, as described below.

Analytics

To improve the app, we send anonymous usage analytics to our servers. Analytics events include: (1) a random per-install identifier, (2) an event name (for example app launch, saving a PDF, showing paywall, purchase outcome), and (3) an event timestamp. We do not include document contents, signatures, saved names, photos, scans, contacts, or account credentials in analytics.

This data is used only for product analytics and operational improvement (for example understanding feature usage, identifying reliability issues, and planning updates). We do not use it for advertising, do not share it with ad networks or data brokers, and do not sell personal data.

In-app purchases and subscriptions

RitePDF offers optional in-app purchases. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to help manage subscription status, entitlement checks, and restore purchases. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

For subscription operations, Apple and RevenueCat may process transaction metadata (such as product identifier and subscription/entitlement status) so premium access can be granted and restored.

Data we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, or advertising identifiers. We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising, and we do not sell your data.

Camera and photo library

When you scan documents or add images from your photo library, access is used only for those features. We do not upload or transmit your photos or scans.

Sharing

When you share a PDF using the system share sheet, the file is sent only to the app or service you choose. We do not receive or store that data.

Third-party services

RitePDF uses the following service providers to operate app functionality: Apple (App Store and in-app purchase processing), RevenueCat (subscription entitlement and restore management), and ETWOLTECH infrastructure (analytics event ingestion).

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest version.
